English courses · Dehradun and live online

Spoken English classes in Dehradun, matched to your next step.

Every learner begins with the Rosemounts English Level Placement Test. The result identifies your CEFR starting level, so Rosemounts can recommend the appropriate class and give you the relevant timetable.

English classes may be delivered in person or live online. The suitable option is confirmed with your recommended class and timetable; not every batch is available in both formats.

English in use

Language grows through listening, speaking and feedback.

Students need opportunities to understand others, organise their thoughts and express an idea clearly. Rosemounts uses active participation and specific feedback so English becomes a skill the learner can use, not only a subject to study.

Choose by life stage

Not one general course for everyone.

The content, situations and feedback change with the learner’s world. All three pathways remain together here so families can compare them without opening several pages.

Questions people ask

What to know before you begin.

How do I know which English course or level to choose?

Begin with the Rosemounts English placement test and a short conversation about the learner’s age and goal. The test is a starting point, not a judgement.

Are school and university English taught differently?

Yes. School learners need age-appropriate confidence and classroom communication. University learners also need academic participation, presentations, group work and the transition towards professional communication.

Can working professionals join English classes?

Yes. Professional and Business English is shaped around workplace situations such as meetings, interviews, presentations and writing. The current format is confirmed after discussing your goal and level.

Are English courses available online?

Selected English pathways can be taught live online. Classroom learning is available at Rosemounts in Dehradun. We confirm the current mode, teacher and batch before registration.

Will I receive feedback on my speaking?

Yes. Active practice and specific feedback are central to the learning process. The exact balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing depends on the pathway and learner’s needs.
